About
My doctoral work was on the broad area "Sustainable biomass management system development for decision support system". It is an interesting and important area for the country like India.
Before taking this study, I was involved in different research projects on ecorestoration, riparian ecology and socio-ecological study under the guidance of Prof. Brij Gopal, School of Environmental Science, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. I can say that my interest in the present study is the result of my experiences learnt during those days in the grassroot level.
I am also involving as a team member in "Education for Sustainable Development" in India under the guidance of Prof. M. S. Swaminathan. Our team is promoting the new discipline "Sustainability Science" in India through IGNOU. I am the youngest member in the team. It is a great learning experience to be a part of the team.
As a young learner, I have a great opportunity to share the experiences among our network "Organisation for Sustainable Development" which was formed in 2003. We have like minded scholars from different Institutes and Desciplines.
